Staff Nurse – Medical Ward

About the role

Reporting into the team lead, you will be accountable for the delivery of the responsibilities set out below. This is a full-time position on a mid shift, working on-site from Quezon City, Metro Manila. The company employs 51–200 and operates in the healthcare & nursing sector.

What you will do

• Educate patients and their families on treatment, medication and after-care.
• Deliver direct patient care in line with clinical protocols and the standards of the Philippine Nursing Act.
• Assess, monitor and accurately document patient condition, vital signs and medication administration.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards on every shift.
• Support endorsement between shifts so continuity of care is never broken.
• Coordinate with physicians and allied health staff on care plans and discharge planning.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an active PRC licence.
• Strong documentation discipline and attention to detail.
• BLS certification; ACLS an advantage.
• Willing to work on a rotating shift including weekends and holidays.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting.

Nice to have

• Experience in ICU, ER or a specialty ward.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
• IELTS or NCLEX in progress for candidates planning to specialise further.
